London Pen Show The WES Spring show in London. What a hoot!Things went much as foreseen in my previous post, but with more Guinness.Clare got us to the venue in plenty of time, and by nine o’clock we were ready for any early birds. "All right my lover?" The Bristol accent is warm and smiley. Well, it is if you were born and bred there, like I was. "It's gurt smart, right." Clare had nursed us down the snowy roads from Andover to our second appearance at the South West Pen Show, on the outskirts of Bristol. Seasoned veterans that we are, we hadn't arrived early, nor with five times too much stuff. The South West Pen Show takes place on Sunday the third of February at the Double Tree Hilton, Bristol North.Clare and I will be there.The theory is that we sell things; but somehow or other, I end up doing a fair amount of browsing myself. If you like fountain pens, this is the place to come. There are a good number of vintage pen dealers as well as retailers offering great deals on new pens.
