Data

Posted by Stuart Lennon on

The new oil.    Apparently.   Soon, every customer of Nero’s Notes will receive correspondence from us on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). I daresay that most of you are already receiving lots of them from other companies.   Before we get that out to you, I wanted to explain what data we collect, and how we use it, in what I hope, will be plain and simple language.   When you make a purchase on the store, several things happen.    1.  You provide your name, address and email address. First Quarter

April is drawing to an end. Easter has been and gone. Winter went, then returned, went again, returned again and now finally seems banished. Pocketnotebooks became Nero’s Notes, Stuart revised his planning system at least twice and found another way to hear his own voice - on 1857.The Trigg Life-Mapper was a big hit and Nomad notes took off like a scalded cat.We continue to work the website, focused on improved navigation and imagery. We would use graph paper, sticky notes, plain sheets and we...

Subscriptions

Posted by Stuart Lennon on

We are very proud of our subscription boxes here at Nero's Notes. The subscription box is our opportunity to curate some gorgeous stationery to surprise and delight our customers. We get a commitment to buy in advance, and in return, we can ensure that the retail value of the box surpasses the price paid. Win-win, right? The reality of this system is that monthly subscribers end up with six pocket notebooks per month. Inevitably, this leads to people being forced from their homes by a collection of paper books that grows faster than they can use them. That makes no...
