I'm sure you'll find lots to read on that excellent blog of his. I'm sure you already know, but just in case, Johnny is a co-host of The Erasable Podcast . If you are into pencils, that is a show that you simply must listen to. Their Facebook group is awesome too.

What would I add to Johnny's thoughts?

Well, right now, I find the pentagonal shape nicer to hold than the standard hex. Novelty perhaps?

The colour. Initially, I was a tad underwhelmed. 'Meh' is, I believe, the American term. However, the more I looked at it, the more I was drawn to it. There's a hint of lacquered furniture in the look. It's growing on me.

I suspect these will do rather well.
